Cancer Support is helping our EEAS colleague, Saveta Denghel, reunite the costs for her treatment.
Saveta Denghel, 46 years old, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the most aggressive
form of brain cancer, one and a half year ago.
Saveta’s friends, colleagues and her numerous interlocutors will remember her kindness and extreme devotion to her family, her friends and her work mates.
Despite a second surgery, the current diagnosis is not very promising … Standard treatments have proved ineficient insofar. The only treatment that can stop the illness advancing is very expensive (immunotherapy), but this is not currently taken in charge by usual insurance system.
This is why her friends are calling for help.
We are selling beautiful postcards and we will be organising a series of creative workshops in August, all proceedings going to Saveta’s treatment.
A FB page was created to help her, please visit, contribute and share!
